rolling on the go

sleepy eyed and half awake i sat awaiting to board a flight
watching people pass me by, from the left and from the side
everyone is on the move wondering where they are all off to?
cases rolled big and small, some scruffy some really old.
ever wondered what they hold? cramped and squeezed within the rectangle mould.

gently as the coffee flowed, felt my soul warm up and glow
it time to get up and be on the go

Looking in and looking out.

Staring out in to the dark, the train bobbed and rattled its way around the city. I was Lost in thought, sometimes catching glimpses of peoples life as the coaches thundered past their kitchen window. Flashes of interiors, glimpses of painting, stacks of books,a glossy black kitchen work tops and bright spotlights. Some had twinkling Christmas lights and some had a wilting plants perched on the window sill. In that flash the mind has created a mini profile of the possible occupant .. But it then starts to question as to what type of lifestyle do they lead? within the so called secured walls when their entire life seem to be on show, even in the single 'second of a glance'

Clouds came down

Floating gently over the trees, rolling in across the fields, the clouds came down to kiss the leaves..
Smothering your view to dizzy haze, letting you tumble in daze, gently cradling you as if you were in heaven blanking out the grubby vision ..
Oh when the clouds came down..

Dancing with skies..

A blink of the eye, the click of the camera- and its captured for life.. You can feel the heart beat steady and the pace of the breathing ease.. Time to inhale the colours and smell the sunset in the last few seconds of what was glorious day.
The chill in the air and the little twinkle of star just there to remind us, the drama is yet to unveil. Hiding behind the dusk, waiting patiently to burst on to the scene is the majestic black sky encrusted with sparkling diamonds.. Twirling an aurora of richness as it starts to tumble in. .. So let the nature's magic begin.

Vilamoura

Landed in Faro on warm humid evening, to find the airport was unfolding itself from their afternoon casita. We waited patiently till we were greeted by lovely man who escorted us to the shared taxi. The drive was long and dusty. Had second thoughts about the holiday destination, but suddenly things seems to get better. Vilamoura – a sparking diamond amongst the rough and rugged terrain.
The evening had extended itself and night was young. Cafés bars and restaurants were full of beautiful people. There was a sound of cerebration and chinking of champagne glasses. The salty smell of the sea mixed with smell food teased your senses as you strolled along the marina front. As you sat yourself down at one of the tables, you could almost let yourself be swallowed in to the atmosphere,  the majestic yacht all moored in to an orderly line-  bobbing up and down like an excited pets seeking the attention of the owner to be taken  out to the seas.
Exquisite array cars all lined up, the Orange and yellow Lamborghinis, BMW Mercedes Porsche and Dodges taking up the front row of your view, people gather around each individual one admiring the widths of the wheel and peering in to see the shinny gear box and fancy dash board
Suddenly your view is jolted back in to reality with beautiful platter of sea food placed in front of you. The visual stimulating my taste buds, sending the hunger signal to the brain. A delicate flake of fish drizzled in lemongrass sauce washed down with chilled glass of vino a perfect start to the holiday. I wish this would be the setting to end my every day evening rather than me looking out at the overgrown garden from my kitchen window.
